Nearly a decade after September 11, 2001, Orange Alert takes place in present day Ground Zero and deals with the rejuvenation of the area. The play traces the lives of six characters including two construction workers (in the new tower) and four other characters (in a diner) that survived the September 11 attacks.
The play set in two acts is about human loss, the process of construction and love. Ground Zero takes center stage in this haunting and exciting new play by Stephen Girasuolo.
In September 2011, the play will be showcased on a limited run at the Algonquin Seaport Theatre at the South Street Seaport, New York City.
