FREEDOM: The Statue of Liberty stands in the New York Harbor and symbolizes the fundamental values of our “melting pot” culture in America. In the months and years that followed the attack, many Americans abandoned these cores values and forgot that this nation is home for people of all races, creeds, religions, gender and sexual orientation.
